Are you saying my kids do not know me? MY children adore me, and are not afraid to ask me about anything, be it drugs, sex, or violence. I give my children all the respect that they need, and they give me the same. I give my kids more respect then most parents give thier children, and my kids have never been in trouble with the law at all.

I think there's a thread somewhere about the dangers of posting while intoxicated. Perhaps we've run across another example of when people should refrain from posting...but I have no idea what to call this...

...brain spasm???

...accidental ostrich??? (head mistakenly removed from sand)

hey...isn't there a song with lyrics that go something like this...

"it's my own d@mn fault"
"Reading departure signs in some big airport reminds me of the places I've been"

50 countries and territories, 46 states...so far

Did you protest about the deaths at Kent State back in the Early 70s? I know you are my age, and I belive you have did your fair share of protesting.

Talk to the children at public schools, and ask them about the Challenger, and what it meant to the schools when It happened. 90% of the children will ask you , "Challenger, whats the Challenger". That right there is so wrong.. Back in 1986, when my Neice and Newphew were in grade school, That was the biggest thing of the year, no matter if you were in Kindergarten, or in College. They do not teach the children what they need to know.. They do not teach them what is going on over in the Middle East, They do not know that we are NOT welcomed over there. We are sending our CHILDREN over there to fight something that the people over there need to be taking care of themselves. I went through it during Vietnam. I lost many good friends for another war that we should have not been in, and something that they can never give back are my friends.

Im sorry if I am ranting, But i am a big beliver that public schools are a big evil in this world. Just watch the first few minutes of Micheal Moores Farenheight 9/11.
Hmmmm......
Why run for the board, when I do not send my children to the schools.
That is a question, and should end with a question mark.
I belive that everything my child needs to learn, I can teach them, and then more.
Including spelling? I BELIEVE you would be wrong there.

Have you talked to 90% of all public school children? Why should it just mean something to 'the schools'? And not the whole country?
Back in 1986, when my Neice and Newphew were in grade school, That was the biggest thing of the year, no matter if you were in Kindergarten, or in College.
I believe that is NEPHEW.
They do not teach the children what they need to know.. They do not teach them what is going on over in the Middle East,
While our school system is not perfect, why isn't this the responsibilty of the PARENTS?
We are sending our CHILDREN over there to fight something that the people over there need to be taking care of themselves. I went through it during Vietnam. I lost many good friends for another war that we should have not been in, and something that they can never give back are my friends.
If you are over 18 you are considered more than a 'child'..... yes, you are someone's child... but if you enlist in the military, you are expected to do your duty, whatever you are called upon to do. Friends, family, loved ones.....

And this has to do with "thanks Jimmy" how??????

And as a graduate of Columbine High School? I am insulted and sickened by anything mentioned by Michael Moore.

From someone who purports to give his children respect, I find your lack of respect for others to be puzzling.

It's 'cause his kids go to private school.

All the braincells in the house leave in the morning.. and he's left pounding on a keyboard trying to make the letters look like words.
