WOW, I truly hope your children are not learning from you. You are a product of what school system? Just a suggestion, get off the internet and into your kids school books, you just might learn something. They (your kids) may be able to help you, just ask them. In addition to the misspelling of the highlighted words, you really need to watch the commas.

Also, given the rate of inflation since the late '60's; $25.00 translates into more than $130.00. Just an FYI.

Can you just go away now?

obvisouly you all do not have a clue. Yes I am leaving. I do have to wake up in the morning and give my children their daily lessons, at least they are farther ahead of thier "peers". But I will leave it at that, you all have a nice day or night depending where in the globe you are.

I feel bad for those who are judging by spelling you obviously have no life and stop attacking this person because his opinions differ from yours, someone’s spelling ability does not reflect on their intelligence, I miss spell words all day long on the internet and don’t bother to change them even though I know I misspelled them. Move on with your life and stop proofreading what one posts.

First this thread got hijacked from one sentence....

Are there child molesters in school?? One only look at the teachers being arrested for having sex with students that are currently in the news......Is that percentage equal to or greater than Private schools? I have no idea, but one cannot that they are there!

There are TEACHERS and there are EDUCATORS.

I know and am friends with quite a few teachers and educators in the public school system as well as others that work within the system.

I have met 8 and 12 year old children that have sailed around the world, with their parents. That have been to countries many that post here, and most of the current or recent high school graduates could not find on a map or chart, (let alone pronounce). They were home schooled and could do celestial navagation and were very well read,... far advanced beyond keets of comparable age. They were NOT socially backwards and could and would converse on various levels and were not "social butterflys".

There has been a big uproar of public school students having to take a statewide standard test of proving they learned something for going to school for 12 years. The students get FIVE TIMES to take the test and pass it. FIVE TIMES/CHANCES!!!! They only have to pass it ONCE!!!!

I do know of several teachers and educators that have told me they would home educate their keets rather than send them to a public school.
I know of several of them that they do their damndest to educate the child and the parent or parents have no care, or the parent does care but is spending so much time working sleeping, cleaning, laundry, cooking, all the things that one must do and the time that they manage to make is either not enough or the parent does not understand the "new math" or whatever....It is easy to say join it and change it...okies are you making the days longer?

Our Nation has been rated number one in several categories in the world....take a long hard look where our nation stands as far as public education WORLD WIDE standings.........

Who do you blame? I for one see many causes.....and not all of them are the educators fault, nor the parents fault, some responsibility does rely on the student. I DO GEEL alot of it breaks down to a discipline problem and parents relying upon a system (that has no responsibility to do so) to discipline the children.

Anyone remember the "good old days" when you got paddled in school and what happened when you got home?

Spanking worked for over 2,000 years ....look where we are now without it....

As far as high prices on the tickets Yeah I agree the prices are too BLEEPING HIGH.........They will stay that high and go even higher as long as people continue to pay them.
The first time I saw JB, cost me less than $8.00 and I got to watch a minor league baseball game.
Tell me how much are front row center floor tickets now. I sat third row center flor for under $30.00.
A few of us, say 5 or 6 could get together and party our A$$es off and cook out and play our favorite JB songs and have no wait for the bathroom and not worry about missing a song at least 2 weekends a month possibly for a few months for what it costs to attend one concert.

Certainly there is a difference between JB circa 1976 and the JB of today.
Would the JB of circa 1976 pay the ammount of money he now asks of us to pay, to see such an act/performance? I kind of doubt it. No wonder he is so happy when he is on stage.....I am sure he loves what he does and that I don't question.... but do you ever stop and wonder if he is standing there thinking about what he is going to buy while he is smiling and carrying on???
Roll with the punches, play all of your hunches...come what may...

Those who are making fun of his misspelling please read this web site that has some interesting information. Its going to make your brain work a little but bare with me and read the symptoms and let me know if anything sticks out in there. Do you know for sure that this person does not suffer from a disorder? Either way you don’t make fun of someone like that unless you know the condition, If I were someone suffering from ADHD I would be offended because you are undermining their intelligence.

Those of you who are teachers should know plenty about this.....
