I would say that flip flops are never proper office attire, but open-toed and/or open backed shoes are OK in the office. I wear them often with pants suits. I make sure my little piggies are nicely painted.

Spare me, LIPH. You wouldn't last 30 seconds in stilettos. Now those are REAL shoes

I'm mad because one of the surgeons really messed up my day... and our administrator is out of the office today...
