In the past few years since the keets flew the coop, April 15 has been a date hubby and I dread 'cause it means sending a check to Uncle Sam.

So in the interest of turning lemons into lemonade... we have started a tradition.
Take the day off
Go out to breakfast
Go to Post Office and deliver the "envelope"
Spend the rest of the day celebrating our new found freedom as empty nesters!

I'm there with you TRF!!!! but unfortunately no day off for me

I'll help! My state refund just arrived!!! Time to go out and enjoy the weekend!

My refund has long come and been spent.. probably on something wedding related... but I think we used some of it for Jimmy Tix.
