FINS2LT

And a Jimmy Buffett for President bumpersticker, and a JB white oval, and in the back window a University of Margaritaville sticker.

I have JIMMEE license plate and a Parrot Head frame and a Fins Up magnet on the back. On the front I have a Parrot Head plate and on my side window a sticker with "St Somewhere" on it. Also have a little glass parrot hanging from my rearview mirror. You should see the smiles I get every day! :D :D :D Love it!

I used to have local parrotclub plates. I had them taken away when I bought my new vehicle two years ago. Ever since, I've debated getting some personalized plates and getting them buffett related. I can't make up my mind, because there is one other thing I love as much as buffett and that is the vehicle itself. I have nicknames with both crowds.

Otherwise, I have lots of stickers, magents, dash doodads, and (most recently purchased and not yet installed) a pirate flag located on the Jeep. I don't think I really need a plate for someone to figure out I'm a buffett fan but it's still a great thing to have.

Maybe someday I'll do something about it.

(Did I mention that I can't spell?)

This is sort of off topic with the intent of this thread but it made me think of an incident that happened to me last fall. I was driving home from a long day at work on a Friday after a very long week. So of course there was an accident on I-77 and traffic was crawling along. Type of day that just makes you want to scream.

Anyway as we are crawling along thE guy next to me blares his horn. Pretty agitated I ignored him. He did it again, then again, so finally I look over and he is motioning me to roll down the window. Less than thrilled, I did and he yells "You a Parrothead??" (I have a Parrothead license plate frame and a KW sticker on the back of the vehicle.) I said "Yes, why"..."he kind of laughs and says, "this will help us pass the time" and he CRANKS "Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays". I let him in front of me and the thirty minutes until we got rolling again were a lot better!!!

So whomever you were....it got me to the weekend!!! Thanks!!!

A couple of years ago I saw a "Margaritaville" bumper sticker on a vehicle. I pulled up next to the guy doing the one handed "Fins up" on my head and he just looked at me like I was crazy.

I looked at the license plate and it read "BFFETT" and it had a parrothead frame. I just have to say that brought a smile to my face. I wanted to acknowledge that I enjoyed his license plate but did not want to look like a nut. It made my day. Does anyone here have a personalized plate or any other decorations on their cars?
Yep- mine says "LST MNGO" and I also have the Parrothead metal frame around it in the rear and up front I have the red/white Parrothead novelty frame. I've renewed this for the last 5 years. Prior to that I had "JME DRMS"
