In another thread we started discussing what our loving families stuck us with for nicknames. Ever since childhood, I've been called Trixie by most of my family. My mom STILL calls me Mabel.

Yeah, I totally understand! My dad has called my younger sister liln' ("little one" for those who don't speak southernese) ALL of her life. He probably would have a hard time telling anyone what her real name is! He actually called me "Smiley", but grew out of that. "Lolly" comes from my first neice (now 19) and all 9 neices and nephews to follow behind her kept the name!

Yeah that's how that is pronounced to they call me lissa and lissy

Not nearly as often, but it's possible I hear the following from the fam: (I excluded some of the variations I used to hear. )
