OMG! NOW I have heard it ALL!!!!

Today is Saturday. There are chores on Saturday. Victoria is supposed to be cleaning her room today. You'd think cleaning her room would be like receiving a life sentence or something.
I've heard some pretty good excuses in my day...we've already been through, "I'm hungry", "I'm thirsty", "I'm tired", "I'm sick", "It's such a beautiful day I just don't feel like cleaning my room", "It's already clean what more do you want me to do (and it's sooo not clean)"...
There's many, many more ideas I've entertained this morning. When I went up to check on her a while ago, she was reading her Bible on her bed. She said that she feels much better now, so I turned on her CD player and told her to get to work.
I come downstairs to work on laundry and make a grocery list for about an hour and I go back up to check on her.
She's not in her room.
I see the light on in the bathroom. She has closed herself in the bathroom and is reading her Bible. I take her into her room and ask her to show me what she has cleaned.
And honest to God's truth, this is what she said, "Jesus told me he wanted me to read the Bible instead of cleaning my room."
As to not offend anyone's religious beliefs, I will not subject you to what my daughter's mother said THEN...but I will tell you there's a little girl that is not allowed to leave her room until her bedroom is SPOTLESS.
GEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ LOUISE!!!!!!!!!
