Here in Paris, our big claim to fame (and it's not a lot!) is The World's Biggest Fish Fry. It's a week long adventure beginning April 25 and continuing all week. The parade is on Friday, the 29th. The Last Mango In Paris PHC is entering a VERY COOL float. Wanna join the PHun?? Head up, over, down, whatever, just get here for the parade. There is also a carnival and everything from cat fish races to "small fry" parades around court square that week. It's a blast!!!!!!!

The parade is the morning of April 29th, either at 9 or 10, can't remember...

Ride the float...well, it's kinda small but you can walk and hand out stuph with us!!! Me and CITCAT would LOVE any phellow phriends!!!

Yeah, you can pass out lei's to the kids and wear your tropical shirts! And watch me and Jill (jimolliemom) go absolutely insane trying to get the 'float' to the starting place in the parade! And eat and drink at Jill's house (on the parade route!) after the parade. And see the absolutely amazing large mango that I painted ( ). And laugh till your jaws hurt, we are a bunch of silly crazy wacko's. Well, at least 75% of the club is.
Jill is the sensible one!

We just finished out first work session and man, what a morning. It was ok weather. Then it rained and then it got COLD! NO FAIR! I NEED dry, sunny weather!! Nonetheless, our float is taking shape and it's gonna be good!!!! CITCAT and the rest of our Last Mango crew ROCK!!

Wow! This sounds like a blast! I am probably only about four hours away from you guys. I'm in Tupelo, MS. It would be so cool to get to be there to meet a few fellow phriends! Jill, if you're as nuts as Citcat, I KNOW we would have a terrific time. Today is my first time reading this thread, so kinda' short notice.

pssst, Des....we're staying at the Hampton, Me and my three nuts (Gary, Mike and Elaine)...You can share a room with Mike and Elaine but let's not tell them until the last minute..HAHAHAH
JUST KIDDING....I'm at Mike's and I told him what I was typing and he said, "You know, I've never killed anyone before now, but....."!!!!!!!!!!! No kidding, stay at the Hampton, they have a workout room. We can walk by the next morning and laugh at the people in there. And laugh and POINT! You know your friend has a waterbed in the basement, right??? She's gonna kill me if Dad is still staying there! ssshhhhhh
