She has been arrested on Attempted Grand Larceny for the Great Chili Conspiracy. The police are saying it was a "hoax" Apparently another party has come forward and claimed to have seen her place the digit in the chili. The San Jose Mercury News calls it "A CSI like investigation".

While investigating her for this she got tripped up on another of her scams and is also being charged with Grand Larceny for selling a mobile home in San Jose for $11,000 that she didnt own. Greedy AND stupid is a baaaaad combination...

The real victims here are the employees, franchisees, Corporate employees and stockholders of Wendy's. I for one ate lunch at Wendy's today to show my support.

I challenge all of you who partake of fast food to patronize Wendy's this week to help them out of their undeserved business slowdown

Wendy's chili finger identified
"Police say the finger that a woman found in a bowl of chili came from an associate of her husband's who lost the digit in an industrial accident."

I think it's time for everybody to take redwinemaker's Wendy's Challenge.
