I'm using iTiunes and not Napster though. Want to put them I my iPod eventually? Any ideas??
It's the same process, I have I-Tunes and Napster both. I use my Rio Cali with both programs.

Those sites are both awesome! I use them all the time to download countless O.A.R. shows and all different types of bands. It is really a great site for getting into alot of awesome music that is less mainstream.

This page should help you with any questions you have with SHN or FLAC files ...

Thanks for the help everybody! Man, that's a lot of info to digest and seems like a lot of work. Looks like I have some reading to do.

The show that I'm really trying to get is the 2004 Hurricane Benefit in Orlando.

Y'all are great!

I downloaded Georgia 10/25/1982 last night from the (servebeer) site. I couldn't get in with IE, so I finally switched over to Firefox. WOW, what a difference. I get in first time, every time.

I've been able to download songs with both ie and firefox.
Firefox is better, faster, and more secure than internet explorer (you can get it free at http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/).
I was wondering, who puts all the songs to these websites? It's really great that they make all these live songs available for everyone.

I used the ftp://jimmy@frozentundra.cs.und.edu/ site with a regular FTP program and it was very fast... THANKS!

Has anybody seen a place with Thursday's Philly show? The ending was too great to not have again and again.

I'm very confused :) I have AOL to get on-line. Are you saying that once i'm on AOL I can download Firefox for free and search the web, and download songs from servebeer that way. And once I download firefox, is there a monthly fee? I can't seem to find the answer to that question yet, maybe I haven't looked enough. :) Thanks for any help you give me. :)

Firefox is a free browser.

It is simply used for browsing around the net. It has zero to do with how you connect to the net and is 100% free.

It was created by college student and others. It is a bit faster then Microsoft IE, and more secure (less prone to viruses and spyware).

But, its just software for browsing. You still need your AOL to connect.

mommar, sign onto AOL, go to the firefox site and download it. once you've done that you can sign onto AOL and then minimize the window and use firefox instead. It's important to note however, that some sites that use applets and other pop-up windows may not be displayed properly. Firefox does not permit executable files, meaning that any of the popup windows that it doesn't manage to catch, SHOULD not automatically load spyware. People are always writing code to beat this feature. Personally, I think Firefox is a great tool - much better than IE.

Yay, I'm glad Firefox worked out for so many. I found it to be superior to IE for different things (downloading shows...). It's like getting on the HOV lane of the information superhighway!
