How can you add songs to these web sites? It would be nice to see the songs from HOOT on there somewhere. I have a couple of things I could add also if it's possible. Does anyone know how?

FTP Difficulty

Has anyone else been having trouble getting into the FTP sites lately? I recently upgraded my Internet Explorer and have been unable to get in ever since. I have tried many times with absolutely no luck. Never used to have this much trouble. With the new version of IE you have to go to Page, then Open. You never used to have to do that. Just wandering if anyone else has been having this problem since updating or if the old version is just as bad. I know a lot of others complained that they couldn't get in before, but I never had much problem. Thanks!

Was on there this morning with the new IE.
No problems...perhaps you need to check some of your security settings?
If I remember correctly, there's one that specifically addresses FTP sites.

EDIT: It's in the "Advanced" Tab under "Internet Options" after you click on "Tools"

I can't get in using IE but that's on my work computer, the firm may block the site. I use Firefox at home and never have any trouble logging in.

I know I'm a little new to this, but what is an FTP site?
It sounds like something I would like.

ftp= file transport protocol... lets you upload files, like.. concerts, so others can download them.

an ftp site is a file repository.

Thanks Ringling!

That is a really cool site. I just tried it and it downloaded a couple songs to my RealPlayer...very neat. I have a few concerts I could upload if someone tells me how.

Gotta love those file repositories!

These ftp sites are both parts of definition 1. and definition 2. Not sure about defs 3. and 4.

Repository:
1. a receptacle or place where things are deposited, stored, or offered for sale: a repository for discarded clothing.
2. an abundant source or supply; storehouse: a repository of information.
3. a burial place; sepulcher.
4. a person to whom something is entrusted or confided.

I can only access the servebeer site.... somehow the other site still doesn't accept the password to get in. I've found that once your transferring files you cannot access the site until the songs are fully transferred.

I haven't been to either the jimmydreamz or servebeer sites for a while, but I've tried a number of times in the past few days and keep getting this same "Alert" every time I try. I've almost never had problems in the past, but now ...
