As alot of you know, I transcribe for a radiology group. Too often I come across dictations on children diagnosed with cancer, born with life-threatening diseases, or those who have been involved in car accidents. Just this morning I typed a report on a 7-year-old boy who has been hit by a car. I know....this is depressing and nobody wants to hear things that drag 'em down. I just think we are SO blessed to have healthy, happy children and should NEVER waste one chance to hug 'em up tight and tell them how much they are loved. So, what are you doin' sittin' here readin'...go get 'em and hug 'em already!

My company won't allow anyone under 9yrs old. My daughter is 7 so she's at school. I brought my niece who was 11 at the time a few years ago though. And yep. Bored outta her gourd.

It is 9 here as well. My Chief approved her because she is close enough to 9.

Give here some small tasks to do that makes her feel like she's your assistant or something like stapling some papers together or sorting some things on your desk, anything to make her feel like a "big girl" at work. :D

Or you could just let her chat with PHbeerman on BN. :o

I'll turn her into a good conservative.

"Everything your dad has ever told you is crap. He's a hippie, and nobody likes a hippie because they smell bad and cannot carry a rational thought"

"First we will start with a little light reading from Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations"

The first thing she did was to clean my desk. She said it was entirely too messy.

I'm not opposed to that. I'm just not sure what a "good conservative" is? :D

Most of the hippiies I know are for smaller Govt and less Govt in your private life. I thought Conservatives used to think that way? :)

You can send her over to clean mine - I just spent 15 minutes looking for a paper clip...found one on the floor

The only problem was that she misplaced my passwords. I have about 12 different user I.D.'s and passwords for different operating systems. I finally found them after i messed the desk back up. :)
