Last rumor I saw was summer. After a power outage at the Indy theater that night...this waiting is becoming a form of sustained torture... :-?

this is one I cannot wait to see. . .

we were there and when Jimmy walked out on stage he saw us. . and , here's my hand . .the first thing he said as he stepped up to the mike was

" I'd like to say Hello to the Balcony Girls. . ."

then the rest I truly can't swear to . . .

the above is a true statement to the best of my memory . .

can't wait to hear it . .

:D

I heard Late June…

Of 2036. But don’t give your hopes up for that date, because they just might change it when that time rolls around.

As disappointed as I was that the show never happened in Indy that night, I don't expect to get a free DVD. It wasn't Jimmy's fault; it was the theater (who did refund our money) and the mall where a broken water pipe shorted out the electricity. So, why should we get something for free?? :-? :-?

Okay, I'm probably overreacting here and maybe you're just kidding about expecting a free DVD, but sometimes life just happens; control what you can and accept the rest. Who knows, maybe next time our surprise will be a good one.... :D

I saw that show the night it was broadcast, and although I enjoyed it, I don't understand why it will be made into a dvd. There are so many other things that would be better, such as a live show, than this. It was cool to watch at the time, but I can think of other things that I would rather see on dvd. WHy not the Wrigley or Fenway shows. Or Texas Stadium?

I agree! I would rather have a full show from one of the tours. With all the live video you see in Margartiaville I don't understand why we don't have one yet.

first of all i was there mid stage second row so my opinion may be a little biased, however from a technical standpoint, i do believe the simple fact that another company brought in 17 cameras to produce the show to send it out to theaters nationwide might explain the reason they would go ahead and turn this into a dvd. You have top notch footage at your disposal to cut, edit ect and put a really nice product on the shelves. Second of all, from a fan prospective, this truly was a one of a kind event.

I would love to see some concert dvds start popping up, and i would truley love to see a DSTC Dvd. And i would pay good money for a dvd of all the concert footage that makes it to the big screen during the shows especially the intermission stuff. not to mention dvd of the other stuff that is currently only available in vhs. From a personal standpoint i would really love to have that night, which in my opinion was by far the best Jimmy expeirince of my life so far, for my viewing pleasure at my beck and call.

My top three reasons I would like this DVD for Fathers Day:

1) Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans
2) The Wind Cries Mary
3) If I Had A Boat

and bonus: The Wino and I Know
