Latest Fenway CD/DVD Update - "Late June"

Post by iwasingump »

Just received a response from the good folks at Mailboat regarding the latest on the Fenway CD/DVD release date. They're still awaiting several additional approvals, but indicated that the set "should" be released "late June".

Which means it may be out in time for Christmas.

(I'm still awaiting the release of the Chicago and/or Alpine concerts from LAST year).

Actually, I can't wait! The Fenway trading vine is hopelessly stalled and I can't wait to relive my first Buffett concert. 8) :D

Thanks a ton for that again. Bookmarked it for when it gets lost in the plethora of pages. :D :) :D :)

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

I did download it. I know beggars can't be choosers, but I found the sound so poor I stopped listening after 4 songs. I do appreciate the effort of the guy hosting the site though.

Well, let's think about this...

60,000+ between the 2 concerts - that's a lot of potential customers.

The "historic " nature of the concert location.

I was listening to the recording of the Fenway show earlier and wondering if any more news had surfaced. I do bet when this comes out it will be an AWESOME recording.

According to the review of last night's show in today's Boston Globe, it says the Fenway dvd will be out by Christmas...2005?

Maybe they moved Christmas to June and forgot to tell me. Hell, I only have 4 more days for Christmas shopping and I haven't even put up the tree yet. Got to get going on this stuff.
