After Becky and I leave there we're going to Portland to see a friend of mine - isn't Mt Hood an inactive volcano? Then by Mt St Helens and then by Rainier. We're going to play volcano when we go by St Helens

When Rainier blows it's supposedly gonna make St. Helens look like a homemade science project... :-? :o

I really did NOT need to hear that   Well at least our house is at the top of a hill so we'll probably won't get melted by molten lava flowing over us - we'll just die from the fallout of ash and lack of oxygen

In Auburn right? I think Auburn has like a 30-45 minute warning time to try to get out of town away from the mountain. Orting, at the base of the mountain has a 5 minute warning time... 5 minutes to know you're going to die. I know a family that lives in Orting.

Yea but I'm sure the highway thru Seattle to Vancouver is gonna be PACKED. OK take a risk of getting out only to not be able to and die in traffic (of course you could make it out but what's the chances?) OR spend the last 45 minutes of you life humpin like monkeys? Image

I wouldn't worry too much about Rainier, When Yellowstone goes it's gonna take the entire west coast Mexico to Canada with it. Those will be the lucky ones, cuz it's the end of the world time and everyone else dies slowly.
