could be the best meal ever, throw in a few steaks and I could eat those out on the back deck every day
Both shows at Greatwoods in June
Seattle and Vegas in October

Girlfriend doesn't realize that shes going to be a parrothead by the end of this summer whether she likes it or not.

They were an acquired taste but once I started liking 'em there was no turning back. Still can't eat 'em raw (Oysters that is. ;)). I prefer 'em steamed above all else.

I LOVE OYSTERS AND BEER!!!

Unfortunately with the health issues in my life right now I can't have either. It's bad enough they take away alcohol but oysters too - BASTARDS.
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.

I haven't tried oysters yet, but I've ingested similar substances, so I voted maybe!

Out of curiousity, are they considered an aphrodisiac?

Well....I'm gonna have to pass on the oysters. Was gonna try them at Hooters in LV with the BN crew...but they ran out. Then was gonna try them at the NYE party in ATL...after all the effort Four Play went thru to bring them to us and cook them, it seemed like the right thing to do. But when Aqua's daughter (sorry Jim, can't remember which one it was) looked at the oyster on the cracker and said "Oh God, it looks like SNOT" that did it for me...since that is exactly what it looked like. :o :o :o

I might try one fried...someday. Until then, I'll just take the beer. 8)

Used to go get them ourselves off the beds in the Folly River...(Where Trip around the sun was filmed??)
I could eat them every day for the rest of my life...Right out of the shell...

Those are the best oysters I have ever eaten....

The smell of the marsh at lowtide can just bring me back there anytime.....

Thanks Tiki.... :D

Here's a good way to begin your meal:

Oyster Shooter

1 oz. Vodka
1 tsp cocktail sauce
dash Tabasco
1 oyster, raw

combine all ingredients in a shotglass
consume immediately
follow with cold beer, if desired
repeat
