Jimmy might be coming back to Toronto sooner than he thinks!
Or you could fly me down to whatever Caribbean you choose for the show. What's another $500?

I am SO for this . .
seriously , is there like some little island we could rent . .then we would have him all to ourselves. . .
I'd pitch in another $50-100 bucks for that . . .! !
LOL, Jimmy likes Necker Island, he has played there a few times, but thats $38,000 for 20 people to visit, and you have to have an "in" with Virgin CEO Richard Branson.
Shane probably has pictures of Sir Richard using his cell phone....UpstateNYPH wrote:balcony girls wrote:I just now read this thread . . . .

If I had connections I would follow it up. Who's up for it?spoonerhizolehound wrote:OK, you guys are getting me excited. Is anyone going to follow up on this for real? I think this would be a groiund breaking event. I dont think there has ever been a fan base who booked their favorite artist(s) to play specifically for their fans. This would make headlines and would speak volumes to the ticket brokers, the Evil Ticketmaster and their ilk. Lets get it on!!!!!

I'm in! Bn still posts his mngmt. co. as HK Management on Sunset. I will stop by on Monday and find out exaclty what it will take to do this. I think it would be best to go straight to his management company rather than go through a third party. I'll let everyone know what I found out and if it's feasible we could get it started. I don't mind heading it up, this could be great fun! PM me if you'd like my phone number to discuss this and how to get it off the ground (pun intendedUpstateNYPH wrote:If I had connections I would follow it up. we'll make bumper stickers and everything ! ! !
If it happened, we would be making history. Who else has booked their own artist without the help of a third party ticket conctractor or broker? It would be astronomical.spoonerhizolehound wrote:OK, you guys are getting me excited. Is anyone going to follow up on this for real? I think this would be a groiund breaking event. It would be quite the topic of discussion! But can you imagine how many new posters would find their way to BN...... yikes
Would we still have to be nice to Newbies????ToplessRideFL wrote:UpstateNYPH wrote:If it happened, we would be making history. That works...Lets see...according to the STATS page there are 9840 current users. If everyone brings 3 guests we are up to 29520 people. If the show is a cool mil....It works out to $33.87per person. SO the question is... what do we get for the mil? Just Jimmy? The Band? The venue?... Let the brainstorming begin!UpstateNYPH wrote:It's alright, anyone who joins after 5/13/05, no go! lol
