Hey wait -- since I found the link and posted it, I have dibs on the venue.
Jimmy might be coming back to Toronto sooner than he thinks!

Or you could fly me down to whatever Caribbean you choose for the show. What's another $500?

I'd pitch in another $50-100 bucks for that . . .! !

:D

LOL, Jimmy likes Necker Island, he has played there a few times, but thats $38,000 for 20 people to visit, and you have to have an "in" with Virgin CEO Richard Branson.
ok . .maybe not a good first idea . .how bout we rent a cruise ship . . ! ! . .? ?

OK, you guys are getting me excited. Is anyone going to follow up on this for real? I think this would be a groiund breaking event. I dont think there has ever been a fan base who booked their favorite artist(s) to play specifically for their fans. This would make headlines and would speak volumes to the ticket brokers, the Evil Ticketmaster and their ilk. Lets get it on!!!!!

If I had connections I would follow it up. Who's up for it?

I'm talking with midnight flyer right now to possibly scope out some stuff with Jimmy's tour management. It's worth the try to see how much of a reality this could be...

I'm in! Bn still posts his mngmt. co. as HK Management on Sunset. I will stop by on Monday and find out exaclty what it will take to do this. I think it would be best to go straight to his management company rather than go through a third party. I'll let everyone know what I found out and if it's feasible we could get it started. I don't mind heading it up, this could be great fun! PM me if you'd like my phone number to discuss this and how to get it off the ground (pun intended :-? ).

Yeah, I'm actually really interested to hear what HK management would say about this. Of course, they would be getting paid....so I'm sure they would have some interest

If it happened, we would be making history. Who else has booked their own artist without the help of a third party ticket conctractor or broker? It would be astronomical.

That works...Lets see...according to the STATS page there are 9840 current users. If everyone brings 3 guests we are up to 29520 people. If the show is a cool mil....It works out to $33.87per person. SO the question is... what do we get for the mil? Just Jimmy? The Band? The venue?... Let the brainstorming begin!

Can you imagine the amount of scalpers registering on here if we post that this is going to happen. If we somehow get good news on Monday, this needs to be hush hush. We can assemble a group to discuss all this and keep it out of the forums for a bit, IMO.

Not too mention I'm sure there would contract obligations that we wouldnt be abke to announce it until a certain date etc etc

For the phillip morris concert, they got everyone for the mil, as far as I know.
