In answer to the question about renting red rocks - yes!

If a Community Event (funds going to a 501(c)3 org.) rental fee is $5,000 or 7% of gross gate receipts whichever is greater +$750 for move in/move out

If for Commercial Event
$7,500 or 11% of gross gate receipts whichever is higher +$750 for move in/move out
Those arent bad prices at all....considering the cost it would be to get Jimmy and the CRB themselves

Ok.... so Monday after work we pow wow...yes?
Yes, I'm going to call them in the morning to find out who and set up an appointment with the person that would handle this. I have other business downtown (LA) on Monday and will be there all day and will definitely arrange my schedule to accommodate this. Remember, I am on the "Left Coast" and probably won't be home until 7 or 8 PM but will post and PM as soon as I get home.

.5 mil x 7% = 35,000 ÷ 9000 peeps is $3.88 per person - I'd pay it :-)

Probably, but I cant see Jimmy playing on a ship for us...confined space, no room for him to escape. Doesnt after his shows he like to get out of there? Also, no theater or stage inside would hold enough people

yeah, I could go for that . . . I think it would be magical . .

it would just be so cool to here him do the " Songs We Want to Hear Tour " . . .

When you book the 'entire ship' you pay the cruise line in full. After that someone has to book the cabins, collect payments ect. Thats a lot of money to lay out!!!

What we need...and I am SURE could finnaggle...... SOmeone with 20 acres somewhere.... so we have to set up a stage?

There is an attorney in Orlando ... a really slimmy weasel so I wont mention his name...but every year he has a party for his staff, clients, city officials etc...its private... and usually on a vacant piece of land. He hires crowd control, caterers, a band.. a while back it was CHarlie Daniels... Gets the proper permits.....

I happen to know a partner in his firm... I can get details , Its a big undertaking... but DO-ABLE!
