This website www.blogthings.com with all the little games is a lot of phun, but I just noticed something that REALLY bothers me: If you go thru the games, over the course of playing several of them you will be asked some of these questions

Your First Name
Your Last Name
Your gender
Your age
Your birthday
Your city
Your Mothers Maiden Name

Now it strikes me that armed with this info, a cyber-thief could get a LOT of your financial information. Maybe I am just being cynical but is there something more than just fun going on here?

BTW you should NEVER give out you Mothers maiden name, it is one of the most common identifiers that banks use...

I usually make up names. They only use the maiden name as an easy to remember password.

It's been posted here numerous times over the last month or two. Check out your "Star Wars Name Generator"

Yes. I, too, am an insignificant speck of dust in the vast expanse of cyberspace,
and I am unworthy to be the victim of any criminal undertaking
by the vast and secret data mining conglomerate that pursues
world domination and the accumulation of all wealth.
(They're still happy to spam and pop-up me to death, however...
just for shits and giggles.)
