Wal-Mart Concert Correction
The Wal-Mart associates concert on June 2 is not open to the public.
-------------------------------
Seating will be limited for Wal-Mart associate concerts during Shareholders' Week
May 20, 2005 --- Admission for both the indoor and outdoor Wal-Mart associate concerts during the week of the Shareholders' Meeting will be on a first-come, first-served basis. While the admission process for the indoor concert has not changed, there will be some important differences for the outdoor concert. The indoor concert featuring Will Smith along with Sara Evans and Brad Paisley will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, in Bud Walton Arena. There will be seating for 18,000 including 4,000 Wal-Mart associates from stores around the world. The remaining 14,000 seats will be filled with associates, each of whom can be accompanied by one guest, shareholders and the general public, if any seats remain. The outdoor concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, in Razorback Stadium will feature performances from Shakira, Jesse McCartney and Jimmy Buffett. Admission to this concert will be handled differently than in past years.
* Contrary to misinformation communicated by some media outlets, this concert is not open to shareholders or to the general public.
* Outdoor concert attendance will be limited to 25,000 Wal-Mart associates and specially invited guests. Wal-Mart associates will be allowed to bring one guest each.
* Admission for associates is on a first-come, first-served basis.
* Associates must present their valid Wal-Mart ID badges at the gate.
* Souvenir tickets will be handed out as each person enters the stadium. When the tickets are gone, no one else will be allowed inside.

With the turnover rate that Wal Mart has, it might be easier to get a job there before the concert, then you could quit the next day!balcony girls wrote:oooooooo . . .captainjoe wrote:balcony girls wrote:. . .WANT TO HIRE . . .

I've planted a seed on my nephew's voice mail, but he's at a bachelor party, so I better not hear from him tonight!
Also just hit me my 75 year old father in law is an employee as well! Option
a) "Bring the old man home" and bring Wally to the Buffett show!
b) Hubby has same name, just the II ... wonder if he'd impersonate his dad
Neither of these are remotely possible! (but I'll drop in on him tomorrow at the store, just in case!!)
Also, it says "invited guests" - I truely believe bg#2 should be able to contact someone, prove her credentials via the Coconut Telegraph article, and get that invite in the mail. But, she better act quick!!

You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say

Most likely will be an alcohol free event!
If it will make any of you feel any better it most likely will be an alcohol free event!
And to those wondering about the Wal – Mart ID card if it’s the one I am thinking about it they do not have their pics on them! And to balcony girls how much is it worth to you?
