Unfortunate that it needed to be explained, but I suppose some may not understand the expense and complexity in running this board.

That said, thanks very much!! :D

Thanks Jim! Don't know what I'd do without this place.

Glad to donate to the cause monthly!

A clique implies exclusion of some people. No one is excluded from donating to keep BN running.

yer welcome, Jim (for my donation) and thanks (for this web site and all your hard work) !! :D

Let us know anytime anyhow anywhere if we can help some more! I actually think I'd cry if I couldn't come on here every day and laugh at these funny posts and glean information on concerts, etc.

Back to the original topic....

Thank you Jim, for all your w**k, and for letting us all be here to have a few drinks, make jokes, meet other great PHs and good phriends!

When I first happened to find this board I felt a little strange being a newbie and fitting in...however I have met so many amazing people here it's difficult to imagine that I ever felt that way. However, everytime I am absent from the boards for a length of time and other new people join, I still find myself sometimes feeling left out and not being 'in the know'... I think that overall mostly everyone here is posting here with the intention of having a good time. I know things can get a little crazy and people can get their feelings hurt sometimes, but just keep in mind that you don't really know all these people in real life, and that not all emotion comes across correctly online (despite all the emoticons! ). I know from experience - shortly after I joined the boards I got my feelings really hurt by someone who is here often. I had some PM chats with others who told me it was all in good fun, but it didn't feel like it at the time! I have since met that person in real life, and we are good friends now. I wasted so much time worrying about something that was not intended to be mean spirited. So silly now!

There are some who come here who are obnoxious or rude, but it's a public place. Even if we did charge for being here, it wouldn't weed out mean people. Just take things here with a grain of salt (and some lime!), and know that for the most part people here are fun and well intentioned. Anytime you have a group that has something in common it doesn't mean that they share every value & perspective - but that's what makes it a dynamic and diverse group.

And as for new Newbies - welcome! It's always phun to expand the phlock! :D

Yeah. wMs.

Thanks for everything, Jim. You are the best!

I'm happy to donate to keep the doors open. It's THE LEAST I can do.
