The closest thing I've found this year is an awesome spaghetti strap tank top with a built in underwire bra. It's not uncomfortable and it makes the melons look damn good. I bought 6 of them.
Mal I feel you pain...I too have never been able to wear anything strapless because of the melons.... hey the two of us together make a nice fruit salad
Bg i'm sorry...that's inconvenient ....try going to a Vici's and asking the sales women for help they have lots of strapless wonder bras that would be perfect for this.

If no photgraphic evidence exists, I volunteer to do an upclose, personal, private inspection!!!!
That should clear things up.

ok, I am not going to read through all of the posts, so this may have been mentioned...if you go to any bridal store they sell these sticky things that you kinda mold to your boobs...they are called "self adhesive crescents"...I bought them for a wedding...I actually have an extra leftover...unused of course...if you would like them, PM me with your address and they are yours

Hee hee. You people are silly. I love reading through all the random neuron firings from everyone.
However, in response to the original question: go to either Nordstrom or Victoria's Secret where they can measure you properly. They both have the stick on duct tape-esque things as well as "convertible" bras that you can move the straps around to accomodate whatever you're wearing, or you can completely remove them.

# 1 - a woman of my size SHOULD NEVER WEAR A THONG
# 2 - I really don't want a strip of material up my butt
# 3 - commando will work

As they say, what do older women have between their breasts that younger women don't have?
A belly button!

I have used the stick on support things...they are the shape of a half moon with lots of stick to them...kind of like a band aid. You place them under your boobs, like a sling. They work very well...but then again, I am very flat and probably don't need a bra in the first place. You can get them at dept. stores...they are flecsh colored and have worked well with strapless dresses....and they are disoposable.

Depending on how "golf ball in a sock like" the biscuits have become... the sticky things don't help. Unfortunately they work best on perky golf balls which are A or small B cup.
It’s just a gravity issue which has plagued women for years. If plastic surgery lifting is not an option…we only have a few choices…. wear a soft strapless bra w/ underwire. Or, buy sundresses which have a self bra in them… or wear halter style which offers some support.
I have noticed the past 3-4 years that I too suffer this dilemma. I haven’t looked into it yet…but have considered a surgical lift. Either that or resign myself to the fact that I am not 25 anymore and work around it!

I guess that's why they work for me...I'm lucky if I am an A!

ok, ladies...
First hand experience with the nubra things...
I don't like the polyester ones they sell at Pennys, WalMart, etc...
I like the natural bra.
http://www.naturalbra.com/
They are no longer available online, but, you can get them at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I got mine for the wedding, and I LOVE it.
It's the silicone boobies, they stick on with adhesive that might leave a little behind the first time, but it comes off in no time with a tiny bit of baby oil on a cotton ball or just taking a shower.
The silicone warms up to your body temp and they jiggle like real boobies.
They also add a cup size, and you can adjust the placement of the natural bra to maximize your cleavage.
Another way that I wear my natural bra is by putting the natural bra inside of my regular bra to fill out my figure a little better. It's hard being a pear-shape!
So, here's the official DKD Rating chart on the NaturalBra...
Scale of 1-10, 10 being the best
Ease of use - 9
Believability - 8.5
Comfort - 10
Price - 10
Overall - 37.5/40
