But for all those damned responsibilities, I'd pick up and go to Hawaii....
yep... it's those responsibilities that'll get ya :(

I believe also that until your truly happy yourself, you cant give or provide to others to the full capacity that you should...
think it comes down to that thin line between doing for yourself and doing for others... which takes priority or gains more favor or finding the balance between the two... but only the individual can decide that for themselves I guess... :)

So yeah... if ya can... go for it... or at least give it a shot...am I promoting a gypsy lifestyle here??

yep... me too... Rockford, IL... with a D&B Corps back in the mid '90s... I had some momentary lapses in judgement last year considering moving to Chicago cause my friend was hyping up some big money in teaching privately... BUT... I was still working it into my plan of getting back to Florida where I grew up... Midwest aint really my style, Winter :o Why would I want more of that

Yeah... that sounds about right... If I was to ever move there... I think it would just be for a year or two until I figured out a bit more direction in my life... right now I'm certainly just spinning in circles :-?

I'm going next year when I graduate for a few months atleast to see if I can establish anything...I already have it all planned out and my parents are helping me as a grad present. However, they are nervous because i'm going all by myself...the only thing that is getting my mom to calm down a bit is the fact that i've been there soooo many times and know the area well.

I'm excited and can't wait...it's easy for me because other than family I have no attachments here, and what better time to start a new life then when you graduate college!!!

Pretty funny you start this thread Kev... I'm one breakup away from heading off to somewhere on my own. My family is upstate and I ain't never going back up there. I've got nothing keeping me here in NYC except Steph.. When she finally wakes up and realizes what a friggin' idiot I am there will be nothing left here for me. Not sure about Key West but I will most certainly be fleeting off somewhere warm!

I hear ya! I'm in that same circle! I grew up here in MA and always end up back here but I'm not at home here... I'm actually thinking about moving to Raleigh, NC to be closer to my nephew and I can transfer there with my job..

My life, everything I knew and believed in, absolutely blew up in my face last year. It's taken me almost a year to realize that this might be the last opportunity I get "to start over". This time, I want to do it right.

KW is a great place to play for a few days or a week, but I honestly don't think I'd like to live there (and I've had the opportunity to apply for jobs at NAS Key West, but decided not to...)
