Yeah, tonite at 8PM in NYC. John Prine's gonna be there playing his first NYC gig (no-studio) since I been tracking him. I been doing my homework- bought Fair and Square. I really like it. Old time/old school- like me. Too many great tunes to list but I think it's gonna be a magical evening. Not Prime at his Prine but still with enough raw talent for the term living legend to apply.

Gonna see the man who wrote Angel from Montgomery, Illegal Smile, Sam Stone, 6 O'Clock News, John Garfield Blues, Lake Marie, Jesus the Missing Years, Big Old Goofy World, Hello in There, Dear Abby, Saddle in the Rain, Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiian. My first time!

Brother in arms to my namesake- Steve Goodman- Souvenirs, 20th Century is Almost Over.

I got "Fair and Square" when it was released....Loved it!

More like vintage Prine....Just my opinion....Have fun! John Prine is always a good time.........Love the stories he tells in between the songs...

A great show! A Kick ass show. A livin legend before a NYC audience showin he belongs in NYC show!

Lots of tunes from Fair & Square (not Safety Joe). Lake Marie, Dear Abby, Sam Stone, 6 O'Clock News, I Aint Hurtin No One, Angel from Momtgomery, Spanish PipeDream, Your Flag Decal Won't Get You into Heaven.

Opening act Chip Taylor & Carrie Rodriguez. Loved them

John was on about 2hours. The man still got it and big time.

Met a fella with a Poco t-shirt and a Margaritaville cap.

John's tribute to Steve Goodman was Souvenirs. I nearly took a bow.
