Hey! I met you for a second in Cincinnati! I also met you in Vegas last spring! What a small Buffett world it is! So what is everyone doing after the show?
I remember...... I think.... lol! After the show I usually head back to the room for a quick shower and change of clothes. Hitting the clubs will most likely be on the agenda. I never make plans... just go with the flow. Ice, Tangerine, Myst, Drai's..... who knows?

Actually, Tammy and I were drinking Sparks that night. It turns your tongue orange.

I would suggest hanging out where ever there is alcohol. Parrotheads won't be too far behind. :pirate:
Alcohol? Ya mean there is gonna be drankin?
Not from this choir boy. Image
Yeah, and I'm a priest! Actually, I was a priest last weekend. (at a Halloween party)

Spenbro wrote:Hey! Who all is going to Tommy Rockers Friday night? Can you buy tickets over the phone in advance still? I went a couple years ago and had a blast. It's going to be chilly that night...
You can buy your tickets in advance anytime leading up to the event....however, if you want a t-shirt included with your admission, call Tommy Rockers no later than 5pm PST today!!!!

I've had a few other people PM me on this so I've got the deadline extended for one additional day.....however, the t-shirt order must go in tomorrow morning so there will be no further extensions or exceptions to the rule.

Also, please do not wait until 4:55pm to make this call (unless you are first reading it at that time).....if management is unavailable for some reason at time, you may be out of luck to get this process.

Hope this helps those who missed the original deadline and I'll see you at the party on 10/28!!!

A quick question about the Margaritaville pre party and the MGM pre party. How do these parties work? Are there cover charges to get into these parties or just show up and pay as you go drinking and eating? Are these parties just an organized tailgating party without the vehicles?

My Buffett concert experiences have only been the tailgating in the parking lot before each show, but since I won't be renting a car or driving the 2500 miles to Vegas, I was wondering what to expect.

At any rate, a little over 3 weeks from now I will be finding out first hand.

Hi everybody,

Twenty days and counting till we leave!

I know a little about the street party.

It doesn't cost anything to get in, live bands, and you just pay by the drink. However it is Vegas, so you can always bring drinks from another bar out to the street.

I know that its possible to make it from the street party at M'ville to the entrance to the Grand Garden Arena in less than 15 minutes if there's no cab line at the Flamingo and you tip the driver really well.

How long a walk would it be from the Flamingo to the MGM? Too far to walk?

I've walked back after the show in about half an hour. The cab lines are so long after the show, you can probably get back quicker that way. There will possibly be a shuttle bus running from the Flamingo street party to the MGM before the show.

Take the monorail....$3 a person to make the trip. Cheaper than a cab and will take less time.

It's a considerable walk, especiallly if you've been enjoying the party to it's fullest. Your best bet is to walk down to Bally's and catch the tram to the MGM. Not sure what the cost is, but MGM station is really close to the party zone.

I've seen that you can buy passes for the monorail on line. Does anyone know if they are available at the hotels or elsewhere? I was hoping to get some passes rather than buying a ticket each time we ride. Anyone know ?
Thanks!

Can't help ya with that one. Most of the places I frequent are within stumbling distance of each other. That's why I always stay center strip.
