Definitely not going!! I'm gonna go see my VT Fly Girls in a few weeks and I had to save my pennies for that. Mal, Fruity, Amy, and Cindy Lou are taking on Philadelaware!!

Yeah, cause no trouble is ever stirred up in Vegas. Or at least none we can talk about.buffettbride wrote:I guess stirring up some trouble is more of page 1 material...land_shark3 wrote:Are you kidding me? We're talking about Mal doing a strip show and this thread goes down to page 4?

With regards to the clubs, it really depends on what type of scene you are looking for.fins2rt wrote:I'm definitely feeling out of the loop here. I have only been to Vegas once before, for the concert last Oct. We had a blast, but it would be much better if we knew where the hot spots to go were! I have seen all this talk about some of the clubs, so I guess that's a place to start....
Mist (TI) - nice little lounge, relax have a drink. No cover.
Tangerine (TI) - more dance club, still a little relaxed. Balcony that overlooks the strip and the pirate ship.
ICE - I think the only club not connected to a hotel and/or casino. Loud music, but upscale clientele. One room for house music and one room for hip-hop. Killer VIP sections.
Rain (Palms) - Party like a rockstar! Wild and crazy, but plan well in advance if you want to get in.
Ghostbar (Palms) - On top of Palms; 55 stories up. Be prepared to get their early or tip heavy to get in the door.
PURE (Caesars) - Nice club, quite eloquent.
Carnival Court (Next to Harrahs) - Very casual. Live music all day. Imagine Cocktail, only the bartenders are better.
I Love This Bar - Toby Keith (Harrahs) - They were just opening this bar last time I wasn't in Vegas, but its got a country theme of course.
Drai's (Barbary) - Don't let the website fool you; this is an afterhours club. Afterhours in Vegas means this place doesn't even get hopping until about 3am.
After that, breakfast at Bellagio starts at 6am.
Not that I've ever been to Vegas, but I hope that helps some.

You covered most of my favorites. There are a couple more worth mentioning though.
Vodoo Lounge - A little upscale. Top 40 type band, exotic drinks. 51st floor of the Rio, so you get a fabulous view of the strip from the veranda. It can be a little chilly out there at night this time of year. No cover or wait if you have dinner at the Vodoo Cafe on the 50th floor.
Tabu - Located at MGM, trendy, upscale. Nice semi secluded areas with couches.
Studio 54 - MGM also. Younger crowd, loud modern dance music. One of those places you'd like to tell your friends you've visited.

Hotel
So did anybody's Vegas plans fall through and now they have a hotel room they plan on returning? Looking for rooms and having trouble finding anything cheap now.

Geez, ohmyhell...it's about time you showed up... but now, of course, this is where the wheels start to fall off the cart ..but it's so much fun to watch everyone pile on!ohmyhell wrote:So did anybody's Vegas plans fall through and now they have a hotel room they plan on returning?
