CMT Insider Special Edition: George Strait
When George Strait sat down in San Antonio, Texas, in late 2004 with CMT for a rare and exclusive television interview, it marked the first time in some 15 years he had talked directly and frankly on camera about his life, career, music and family.

Inclusive of his keen insights into the development of his career and his music, the one-of-a-kind DVD also contains his fondest recollections of his relationship with the Houston Rodeo, his own ranch life and his George Strait Team Roping Classic. He recalls his time spent with President George H.W. Bush at Camp David, making the film Pure Country, his close ties with producer Tony Brown, his family and of course, the magic behind many of the country songs that have made him No. 1.

Country hits home with George Strait. And here it is.

Thanks for the info. I planned on picking it up on Tuesday, now I know where I will be buying it :D I've heard 9 of the 11 songs already, and it's just what you would expect from George. If The Whole World Was A Honky Tonk is one of my early favorites so far.

I'm interested in hearing "The seashores of old Mexico".
I really liked Willie and Merle's duet version.

Someone I know, ordered it online, and Amazon then gave them a link to hear 9 of the 11 songs. The URL is REALLY long. I PM'd it to you to see if it will work or not. Let me know :D

I just sampled it and it sounds like a snoozefest.
Only 2 upbeat songs and the rest were slow ballads.
