I have the chance to fly into FLL and change planes. if I book this flight plan I would have uh about 40 minutes to get from United to Continental
gates. Do I have a chance?? or should I book through Miami where I have more time?
Thanks!

But Miami isn't bad. While there is nothing to do at the airport, you do get to see all the honies on their way to South Beach. 8)

I wouldn't chance it. Not sure when you are doing this, but this time of year we get weather here around 2-3pm. Hell, just yesterday we had to divert one of our planes to Miami due to weather at FLL. You never know what you're going to get and when it will happen.

Although terminals 1 & 2 (the ones you will be using) are next to each other, I wouldn't chance it. If you miss your connection and have to wait for the next one you're taking a chance also. If you're coming down on a Thur or Fri, chances are the loads are going to be pretty full into EYW and you'll get screwed.

:40 is just too close for comfort. But if it was me, I'd wait for ya!

You have a chance to make it, but if you check any bags it will be too close to get them transferred from one airline to another.

Flying is stressful enough without adding to it.

You know... this would be a cool thing for a "BN 'to-do-together' thing"... charter the guys at Chalk's to get us to EYW. :D

Couple of years ago I threw that line in the water and there were no bites.
Too far away right now to know what the maintenance commitments will be then. Right now, there is only 1 plane of 3 flying. N142PA had a float pylon bent out in Paradise Island and N130FB has been down for a while serving as the Hangar Queen. Should be up in a week or so.

Alot can happen in 4 months, so it's way too early to commit to anything.
