Both articles are absolutely true. It took forever to get into PNC. It took us about 45 minutes. Some people were even turned away from the other gates and told to only go to Home Plate-so I don't think the story was completely true. The heat-gawd the heat.

On the plus side-great concert!!

We had no problem getting in. We walked right in left fied gate and We were in our seats at 5:00. Maybe some people party alittle to LATE?? I dont feel sorry for them. We have been going to Buffett Concerts for about 20 years now. Never had a problem. :pirate:

Jimmy in Pittsburgh.....had no problems

Post by kelliwv »

I was at the show in Pittsburgh on the 26th of June, and my friends and I had no problems getting in and we hit the gate at approximately 5:45p. We went in the Left Field gate and were NOT told we couldn't enter there, ( our tickets said Home Plate Gate) we walked right through with absolutely no waiting. The only thing that I can see as a problem is everyone partying a little too long and starting the stroll to the gate a little sooner. The gates opened at 4p, 2 hours before the show, giving more than enough time for everyone to enter.

On to more important things.....WHAT A GREAT SHOW~!!!! I was a Buffett concert virgin up until yesterday and will be returning for more!!!!!!! Thank you, Jimmy for a wonderful concert....nothing I ever see will be able to match up to you and the Reeferettes and the Coral Reef Band performance.........WOOOOO HOOOOOOOO...( one thing, go back to the pavilion next year)

I too had no problem getting in. Of course, I was lined up at 3:50.
