Actually, the schools are really good. I lived there for 10 months and that was enough. I prolly wouldn't mind the cities too much if it weren't so damn cold!
You lived in the twin cities?
Nope. I lived in Winona which is about 200 miles south. It's a wretched, wicked, evil place to be. Looks pretty, but the people there are big fat huge ugly meanyheads that talk funny.

I was born and raised in and around Denver, so I need to be close to a big city. That was just too small. I think if I had lived in the Minneapolis or St. Paul, I would have felt differently because it's more metropolitan. But, too cold.

It can get -10 in Denver too, just not for long periods of time. We'll get a real bad cold spell for a week and then the temp fluctuates between 55 and 0 all winter. In MN, it gets cold and stays cold, and by the time you defrost in August (when it's evil, wicked, wretched, humid, mosquitos muggy hot), it's time to get frozen again.

Laugh now, James. But when you live there and your boogers freeze just thinking about going outside, you'll wonder what the heck you were thinking when you picked a school for "educational" purposes.

So, how much extra do you make per month doing that dude?

Way back in the day, when we all used to go down to AC on a weekly basis, the AC Expressway tolls were the baskets where change would filter through it and land on the stand. There were no cameras at the time and we always went down very late at night to avoid traffic. I used to make an easy 7-10 bucks off of the basket I drove through. It paid for my breakfeast the next morning

No, I don't do that anymore :) Of course, I can't since they took the baskets out.
Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all..

Here in Illinois, we have a thing called I-Pass... it is a computerized toll-paying system where you just drive through and it reads a sensor you put on your windshield. Well, we are driving home from Minnesota on Saturday, and this idiot is there backing up through the lane because he went through the wrong one! After 3 minutes of just sitting there with a long line of angry truckers behind us, the jerk finally left the lane and then proceeded to drive through 5 lanes of exiting motorists!

HERE'S YOUR SIGN!
Thing is... all they will do if you take the I-Pass lane is take a pic of your tag... then mail you a bill for the toll  Not that big a deal...
Trust me... when I'm in Chicago and out of change... I take the I-Pass myself :P :pirate: Sorry, but I dont feel like bustin a $20 for a measily 40cents

Yeah we have the I-Pass but for some reason it wasn't reading it... they sent us documentation and pictures of our car of 5 times the I-Pass didn't read and tried to charge us 20 bucks for each one.

dadgum... must be some special "local" tax on that one.... they never tried it with me... maybe being out of state they knew I'd tell 'em to kiss my butt on that... where as you... still have to live and drive there... bowing to the local "machines" rules on a daily basis...
