Hey Jimmy,
Nice show in Pittsburgh. We always enjoy your shows every year. Been going to your shows since the early 80's. Took our kids to this one this year and they really enjoy themselves. We have 2 boys 12 and 10, and they had a blast. As you have always said, "thank you my friend". From the heart Jimmy, WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

Jimmy,

Thanks for being a constant in my life since I was merely a 'keet going to my very first concert with my mom.

In such a changing planet it's nice to have something to fall back on.

Thanks for being that.

We are fairly new to this whole parrothead thing, but it has provided us with so much fun over the past 2 years and for many more to come. Your songs speak to me and tell me of a world I would like to know better. It helped me to survive a pretty tough couple of years - losing parents, turning 40, and having my oldest graduated from high school. My boys listen to you even without being forced and it's fun to have something we can share with them as they grow up. I can't wait to take them to their first buffett show.
Please keep making great music and spreading it around with your tours.

Dear Jimmy,
We truly love you, BUT what kind of summer job gives you all of July off?

Answer must be "the best summer job in the world", that you mention so often!

If you're not busy in July, come up to Ottawa for BluesFest.... lots of your buddies appearing, and I have Gold-Circle passes!

Thank you Jimmy for getting me through this "change of life" thingy.
lol I get a bad mood swing...I swing to your music & all is well.
That is why my whole spare room is palm trees, party lights, parrots,
grass skirts, & Margaritaville items & of course your music to soothe
the savage beast. Thanks for all you do for us out here. :D

Thanks Jimmy. No better music to listen to while riding the trades through the Caribbean, or even just driving to work.

Well, okay...I'd sort of like it if you'd sail with me from St. Pete Beach to the Keys for MOTM...that would be sort of cool. I'll even let you steer...

Caribbean Soul I Can Barely Control

Post by BoatDrinkSweetie »

Jimmy, My Phriend,
I was lucky enough to be taken to one of your shows at the age of 16. Eleven years later, my Caribbean Soul has really grown out of control and I owe it all to YOU! I haven't missed you a single year and as I've gotten older, and no longer a poor college student, I see you more often than I probably should. Thanks for the wild ride! Keep playing your music and most importantly, telling your stories, because you still take me to margaritaville (the only state of mind I truely understand) every day I listen. THANK YOU JIMMY!! I RAISE MY GLASS AND MY PHINZ TO YOU!!

Oh...addendum to the sailing from SPB to the Keys...I don't want to talk about music or why you wrote this song or that song...I really could care less the "why's, how's, or who's"...just glad you did. I want to chat constellation navigation, types of boats you've had, favorite Carribean ports...and just let the conversation go from there. And there will be NO JB CD's on board. I think you have heard them all by now.

Jimmy,

Thanks for all the hours, days, weeks and years of joy you have brought me.

I wish I could put into words the feeling I have when I: go to show, play a CD, check Buffettnews, listen to Radio Margaritaville, am having a TIKI Party with friends, laying on a tropical beach or just stumble on a song on KINK-FM. But the right words escape me...

Perhaps you may have said it best "Visions of good times that brought so much pleasure make me want to go back again."

Thank you for providing the vehicle to such wonderful memories -- I'll raise my margarita glass and toast to those memories still to come!

Dawn
I wanna go back to the Island...

See you in Boston, September 2nd!

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the need for more love to be going around this place? Especially just before they tour starts!

So I am resurrecting this post by BG hoping that we all feel the love and remember why we phlock here.

Jimmy thanks! You've made the good times better and the bad times bearable.

And learn to trust your intuition
