Well, since this is my first year for actually making it to Buffett concerts, I for one, most definitely appreciate JB. I've read a lot of complaining and comments about him playing the same old thing every time, but secretly, I'm kind of excited to hear him play Volcano and Fins when I'll actually be there live.

::ducking before something gets thrown at me::

But I also appreciate music that I never never get tired of and always brings me a smile to me and my entire family at every bbq in the summer:) It's not a 4th of july bbq without having JB playing out on the deck.

Jimmy,

Have loved you since the '70s when I was living in Daytona Beach--Party City USA!

Now that I'm a little older, I'm here in Montana, monitoring the Livingston Saturday Nights for you!!!

Keep on keeping on!!!

PHairLady (newbie to BN--but just as enthusiastic!) :wench:

Jimmy,
Thanks for everything over the years!!! You continue to give all of us that little escape that we all desperately need from time to time. (Some of us more than others  :D ) I only wish I had discovered you and the whole PH experience, alot earlier in my life. It's been 8 wonderful years that I've been riding this wave and I still wonder how I made it through before then  . Keep doing what you've been doing all these years...exactly what you want! That's why we love you!

We'll see you in Vegas on the 22nd!!!

Hey Jimmy, the only way you could truly dissappoint me with your music is when you decide to stop playing it.

Thanks for the years of taking some stress out of the day and for all those "songs to live life by."

Which makes me wonder, when did offering some honest criticism become something to be frowned upon? I'm a longtime Buffett fan and chances are, I always will be but I see nothing whatsoever the matter with the discussion of things that may not make some fans happy as well as the things that do. If this were nothing but a fan love web site it would become pretty boring real quick.

Jimmy,

You are an amazing entertainer. I did say post in the "Problems with last Night's show" or whatever, being a little critical of your covers and I felt terrible about it until the very next concert where I realized that no matter what, listening to your music always brightens my day and has gotten me through good days and bad days (and half-mad days  ) You give me and my phamily a place to escape from the daily grind. Keep rockin' on and have phun!

Sincerely,
Another JB

Ok, I just have to post here... I'm still riding high after my past week of Buffett concerts.....

Jimmy, I LOVE YOU!!!! Although I'm still relatively young compared to many parrotheads, I've still been rocking and rolling to your music as long as I can remember.... I'm 25 and have already made it to (and remembered) 19 concerts. You're music is so energetic and inspiring.... I train for marathons while listening to your music! Keep on rocking it out JImmy!!! You are a timeless performer and I will always remain a loyal phan, whether you play tons of covers or no covers at all!

P.S. You've seen my tatas 3 times now!!!! I feel so honored! (as long as you've actually watched to video to Changes....)

:D Jimmy it has been 16 great years for me and my wife listening to your music and following in a lifestyle that proves it's OK for good people in the world to get a little wild and crazy every now and then and make sure whatever you do in life you love every minute of it.
It makes me proud my 6 year old daughter wants to grow up listening to Jimmy Buffett and not Britney Spears.
Thanks alot man and play whatever songs make you happy as long as you are still playing will be happy :D

Why?

He never comes out here to see me ........

It is a one way street with these airfares - he is not buying one for him to come here and see me .... yet I have bought them to go over there -

so - I think it is time he showed Australia some love
