I'm in for the 22nd. And 3 friends. Will be my first time to Vegas and to top it off with a Buffett show.....cant get much better! Saw him in Cincy this year. Best damn parking lot tailgate party I have ever seen. And this is my first time NOT sitting on the lawn. Having an assigned seat will be most unusual.

Looks like I might be in as well guys.. Nothing definite yet, but more likely than not I will be there. It's my birthday weekend so what better way than to celebrate it with Jimmy and all my crazy PH/BN phriends! And I'll be able to make new friends too.. Been to Vegas before.. Been to Buffett before... But never been to Buffett in Vegas.... I've been told by some pretty reliable sources that it's a definite party!

Have no idea where I'm staying yet.... Still looking into this... I'm waiting to make the final decision until I know whether or not I'm able to take a new job with the state's attorney's office or not. I was pretty much offered the position but want to wait until I know I'm raking in the big bucks... Oh, I hope I get to go!

I'm staying at the Imperial. Not real cheap but not MGM prices either. Imperial is pretty close to being sold out that weekend too. Gonna be a happenin' place, fo' sure!

Isnt SA's Office and Big Bucks an oxymoron?
We'll be with the rest of the PHlock at the PHlamingo. See you there!

I just want to find a decent priced room on the south to mid strip... Even if it's off the strip by a block or 2 is fine by me.... Walking a little to the party or the tailgate doesn't bother me.
Any recommendatoins guys? Do you think I should wait to see if rates go down a little bit or book something soon? This is my first buffett vegas trip. When I went to vegas in May i booked it maybe a month in advance and got some wicked good deals.
And I also need to find something decently priced because it's just me paying for it. I'm hoping to spend about $600 total on air and hotel for 2 nights.
There's another option I have though. It would save me a couple hundred bucks. I could use my sky miles and fly out on friday and back in to hartford late tuesday night but would have to stay a few extra days... Are people staying a little bit after the show?
Hmmm... decisions.....
What's everyone's plan of attack here? I"m open to suggestions, comments, etc!!!
Definitely looking forward to this show!

The problem with the redeye is I landed at LaGuardia at 10:00 Monday morning, took a cab to the office, worked all day, went to see The Eagles at Madison Square Garden that night and didn't get home until 1:00 Tuesday morning. I'm not 25 anymore.habourgirl wrote:I love the red eye.... that's what i'm taking home....LIPH wrote:Still trying to find decent airfare without having to take the redeye home like I did in April.
