I know there is a thread for the next week, but who is going to be in LV for the 10/22 show?

I haven't decided yet but if I go to one of the Vegas shows this will be the one.

I'm not concerned about getting a ticket to the concert, that's the least of my problems, but airfares aren't very good right now. I went to Vegas 3 times last year and didn't pay more than $225. Last time I checked a couple of weeks ago I couldn't find anything under $300.

My Larry , found $225 (I think) on Contiental a few weeks ago. That was cheaper than anything he could find.

I will be there, along with the Mrs. and a group of 6 others None of them are BN'ers, but they have all been to Jimmy in Vegas before with us.

We will be there again!! We had a HOOT in April...loved it so much we are going back in October and bringing four others with us (They really aren't Buffett phans per se, but do listen to some...well, maybe cause they have to if they are at my house! I think they will have a lot of fun (two of them are my parents!) I am sure they will all partake in the pre-concert parties. Hoping to find reasonably priced tickets so they will splurge on that too. We had floor seats in April, but will probably try to get some decent "cheap"seats so they will be more likely to take the plunge!!

Going to your first Vegas show is like being a "virgin" all over again. It's just "different" than any other place you see Jimmy. Different in a good way...a very good way

Looking for 4 great tickets for the 22nd - it will be my first Buffett concert ever - folks I'm going with have been to lots of them.

Continental seems to have the best airfares for getting to Vegas right now. Although if you are somewhere to get on Allegiant they fly direct from several places - and prices are great!

We'll be there with a couple friends. I turn 40 that weekend . Staying at the Flamingo and got great rates flying Southwest out of Midway Chi. I didnt get tickets for the show at Wrigley and no Alpine so Im going to Vegas.... I think I'll like Vegas better. (tickets arrived in the mail this week)
Ive read some stuff about pre-parties in Vegas but where are they?! Is there tailgating in the parking lots? Stuff going on at the MGM before the show? What should I be planning for?

For the 22nd it will be me and wifeypoo as well as our good college buddy and her sister..... Both virgins....WooHoo!!!..

Then on the 29th it will be the two of us, HimRroyd and Tracy, My bro and sis in law, Greg S and Matt....Who knows??? There may be more by the time we get done.......

Oh and of course Hydster and Hubby.......

Usually there is a pre-show party at the MGM, in April it was pool side. There will be a pre-show party on the street next to the Margaritaville Cafe. Both will have bands playing and plenty of adult beverages. Often there is a Friday night party at Tommy Rockers (Off the Strip on the north side of I-15) that can be fun.

Booked a room at the flamingo today, will be staying friday-sunday.

Does anyone have any pre-party info yet?

I assume Margaritaville will have something going on Saturday as well as some kind of party at MGM...

does anybody have any info if there is going to be a last man standing party at tommy rockers on friday last time was great for the exception of the winds!!!
