I am in the process of compiling acoustic JB performances and would like some help from the masses. I have the acoustic solo shows (Exit Inn 1974, Telluride 1980, Bora Bora 1987, FL State Penn 1990, 11/20/99, 11/4/00, 10/3/01, 10/31/01, 3/21/02)

What I am looking for are some random acoustic performances from JB and the reefers in the winter tours and as encores in the past few years. I am looking for the following songs:

Captain and the Kid
In the Shelter
They Don't Dance Like Carmen No More
Livingston Saturday Night
Kick it in Second Wind
Tampico Trauma
Biloxi
Lovely Cruise
Incommunicado
It's My Job
Steamer
Who's the Blonde Stranger
If the Phone Doesn't Ring Its Me

I am not looking to setup a trade yet, I just want to see what is out there. I know that the NY Paladium show 3/14/1980 and the Minneapolis show Aug. 1980 may have some of these. I also think there may be few on the JB and Mac show from 5/4/01. I just don't know if any songs were done acoustic during these shows.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's my job, and lovely cruise can both be found on the "Jimmy Buffett live in Las Vegas disc" which is sold in stores. Mac and Jimmy do "Its my job" acoustic together, and Jimmy closes out the show with lovely cruise by himself :D

Hope this helps.

I was thinking about doing something similar just today. I'm working on a set list right now. I have recording software and it has allowed me to clean up some of my favorite recordings. For example, I was able to combine the Buford Pusser Story and God's Own Drunk from the Exit Inn show and clean it up so it sounds a lot better. Sure it's 15 mins long, but it sounds great and is a must have, in my opinion.

I have a few shows from the 70s that are good quality and if it's not against the rules, I'll offer it up on a vine when I'm done. I'm a member of another forum that has done similar compilations like this.
