Thanks to our majorly magnanimous mods, who magically magnify this merry mecca without malevolence or malfeasance. You mediate a maze of messages (some filled with malice from miasmic megalomaniacs) and manage to indulge our maniacal messages of everything from mammaries to monkies to margaritas to mispelling in a manner most miraculous. 8)

At least I make the mods earn their pay.

What? You don't get paid?

If this is in response to the deletion of the Meet Me In Margaritaville thread I have to say, "no thanks". Opposing opinions should be allowed here. Oh how easy it would be to eliminate unpopular opinions in the real world if only you had the power to delete them but this is not the real world, this is BN where it's all too convienent to be able to simply delete a thread instead. I also find it extremely odd to see so many people jumping up to kiss the ass of the very people they've spoken so poorly of before when their threads were deleted and/or locked (if you doubt my word, read their opinions of BN mods over at ************).

Kissing ass is NOT the same as thanking someone for doing a time-consuming and unpaid job. Imagine having to read every single post, every single day, then having to make decisions that will please PHJim (people keep forgetting this IS his personal web site) about unsavory or unusually offensively flaming posts.
I resent your presumption that:
1. I post on BW (more than once every six to ten months or so)
2. I have EVER griped about the mods
3. I have EVER griped about having a thread I've posted in locked or deleted.

An ounce of presumption is worth a pound of manure.

That behavior doesn't go for everyone here but it sure goes for a lot of them.

This is a positive thread.
While I respect your opposing view, I would like to point out that this is to thank the mods for keeping the boards running smooth.
There's another thread titled "QUESTION FOR MODS" which discusses the issues of why threads are deleted.

Since it has nothing to do with the deletion of threads here, just a nice sunshiney thanks, your post has been invaldiated in my mind.

Jim deleted that thread, after I had issued a warning for the users to cool off. Jim seems pretty happy w/ the way this board is moderated. Do the math.
