Celebrity Sighting

For those of us that live in big cities... it happens occasionally... but rarely are you fortunate enough to see someone like this:

No joke!!! I just saw BECKS on the street!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Real Madrid is in town to play an exhibition game and as I was waiting for the bus he walked by!!! I said 'OH MY GOD' as he walked by then followed him for a few steps and took a pic with my phone. It didn't come out that good, but still... I SAW DAVID BECKHAM!!!

The highest paid athlete in the world... soccer... he's married to Posh Spice/Victoria Beckam... outside the US, he's the Michael Jordan of soccer. The namesake of the movie 'Bend It Like Beckham'

Alright, fine. :-? But with endorsements, I think he's the highest, isn't he? More people around the world have bought his jerseys from Man U & Real Madrid than Jordan's Bulls jersey.

FINE!

He's still the most recognized athlete in the world! And I believe, the most photographed.

I am not surprised to see soccer increasing in popularity with the teenage generation. A lot of people in my school love the sport.

Wow! That is startling that homosexuality is spreading so fast in the teenage population. (NTTIAWWT)

We just have kids who have "days of silence" for gay rights in our school. They wear signs and everything.

Soccer will never be popular in my lifetime, which is surprising since f'n NASCAR is so popular.
