Hun, just do what you want to. If you're going to be miserable spending any extra time there, don't stay. It may be an amazing opportunity, but would it be worthwhile to stay? You are very far away from home, and that's got to be extremely difficult. I spent a semester abroad in my undergrad and I was so excited to go home. The school I was studying at extended me an invitation to stay till the end of the summer and I just couldn't do it. I wanted to get back to the states. There was so much I missed about being here. I don't regret my time over in Europe during my study abroad, but I was so happy to return home.
If you're looking forward to coming home that much, then come home when you had originally planned too!

Tell them you'll come back in October. However, they'll need to fly you first/business.

personally , i would get out ASAP. If you don't stay, and the company does something with you negative. They don't appreciate you going over in the 1st place and doesn't respect you as a employee.

Yes and i have to give you credit for even considering staying for a few more weeks. i'd be on the first plane out as soon as my time was up there.
i almost had to go over to train some people on estimating. i said no. for 2 reasons 1. you can't price out jobs without the drawings.and them just giving quantities. 2nd why would i jeperdize myself when then work for cheaper wages and i become expendable. They let me go but paid me a full salary till i found a job. i had a job in about 3 weeks . went to Florida relaxed and started a new job. The company know has gone through wholesale changes and practically out of business. sometimes you think the grass is greener on the other side , and sometimes you find weeds.

I think that you should do what is best for you. This is your life and if you feel like you can handle two more weeks than do it, if you dont think you can handle it than get on the plane Aug 3 and come home. If you do decide to stay just make sure you made the decision and not someone else. I support you either way girlie, do what makes you happy, thats all I ask.

So after a very long and sleepless night and many conversations with family and friends I have decided that I'm going to stay for a few more weeks as long as I can be on a plane home on or before August 21st. Not really wanting to stay BUT it will look good if I stay a little longer. I think I can pull an additional two weeks out of me but I know anything longer and I will go crazy here. Thanks to everyone who has responded and sent me PM's it gave me a lot to think about over the night and has helped me make the decision I have made.

girl you know if there is anyway possible that we can get together that I will make it happen. Just not sure what Jason and I have planned yet. I know I fly in on Wednesday night and then Thursday we'll be at the USC football game. Other than that I can't tell you what's going on..
