Best Bang For Your Buck: In N Out Burger

OMG! Last week in California we went to the most awesome place EVER. It wasn't Disney, Sea World, or the Zoo. It was heaven between a bun! In N Out burger is truly the happiest place on earth. I head the Double Double, which is two ginormous burger patties squished between the bun with lettuce, tomato (which I omit), onions, mayo, ketchup, and all the other goopy stuff that just drips from your lip to your toenails when you try and bite it. Would you like fries with that? Of course! Freshly cut (real potatoes) and dropped right into the hot grease.
There's only a few things on the menu. The Double Double (yummmmm), a regular cheeseburger, or hamburger; plus, fries, sodas, and your choice of vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate shakes. It's totally affordable too, and you soooo won't still be hungry when you leave.
I was so enamored with this Double Double business, that I went back in to buy a t-shirt. Expecting to shell out $20 or more for a T (the going rate at most restaurants), it was only $8!! $8!!!! You can't even buy a Tshirt at Target for $8.
So, today I am happily sporting the best bang for your buck: my In N Out Tshirt.
What a clever, perverted little name for a burger place, huh? Just the kind of place you're likely to find BB.

Finally people are catching on. When I lived in SoCal I frequented In and Out quite a bit. Anyone whose says FatBurger is better is just plain stupid!

Not leading at all. Just surprised.

Until this year, I hadn't really left home much. Unless Iowa and Minnesota count.

I use to go to the one in Pacific Beach and Sports Arena Blvd in Sand Diego. If you went after the buffett show you probably went to the one in National City.

I was pretty turned around when I was there, but I'm pretty sure the one we went to was somewhere close to the Pacific Highway and would have been just north of Moonlight Beach in Encinitas.

That's National City. Chula Vista is closest to the border but I don't beleive they have one there.

I love In & Out Burger....eat them all the time here in Vegas. (You'll have to get one when you come out for the show in October!)
The best part about them is you can order the burger "protein style" where they don't even put it on a bun....its wrapped in lettuce leafs instead.
Also, their burgers are never frozen....they are made with fresh beef and so yummy.
You must have really been drunk when you went there though....there's no ketchup or mayonaisse on a Double Double.....only thousand island dressing.
