Brief mention of Buffett

Post by Mots »

In a book i am reading "FARGO ROCK CITY."

Authors favorite college prof named, Scott Lowe, who taught religious studies grew up w/ Jimmy Buffett.

Thought it was kind of cool and I would throw it out there

I'll revive this thread.

I'm reading The Book of Fate by Brad Meltzer
on page 319

"Chesk out that sailboat in front of us," the pilot announced as he pulled off his headphones and entered the back of the plane. "That's Jimmy Buffett's day sailer. You see the name of it" Chill."

Great book BTW. About 500 pages and just when you think you have it figured out there is a twist.

I beg to differ....they are both professors of religious studies. They just have studied different religions! :D
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
