which suntan lotion do you like better

Coppertone or Hawaiian Tropic? I know there are tons of others, probably better. But when I was a kid going to Wildwood, NJ as soon as you got near the beach all you could smell was coppertone. It was like the only suntan lotion anybody used. I just bought some the other day for the first time in many years and the smell just brought me back to the beach.
Then when I was in high school Hawaiian Tropic became popular. And I loved the banana/coconut smell. It reminds me of being in high school, frying like I shouldn't have and just those great hs memories.

you'd need a Newfoundland Hound or a St. Bernard to do the classic Coppertone ad properly... and they don't do well on a beach in FL..

It's not so much the lotion but the person helping you rub it in...

I like Bullfrog gel or Coppertone Sport Gel (but the only place I've ever seen Coppertone gel is in Hawaii).

Oh I forgot... the best thing for lips is Hawaiian Tropic 45 in the little black tube (resembles Chapstick)! About the only thing that doesnt taste weird!

We use SPF 45 WaterBabies (Coppertone).

They make an SPF30 stick that's easy to get on faces too.

Don't use either.. an off brand here, still works good, and can't stand those tropical/coconut smells. Just ick.

now I usually use bullfrog or banana boat because it's really waterproof and I usually go for the higher spf. My sons who surf swear by headhunter for the same reasons. It's pricey.

a spray I don't think would be very effective...or waterproof :-?

I have to use the super duper high SPF to make sure the tatts don't fade

which reminds me...I'm getting a new tatt next week (or he'll show me the design next week)....it's a cover up, so he has to work around my old one...but it's going to cover my upper arm/shoulder area. It's pirate themed....Pirate, skull/cross bones, jolly roger, ghost pirate ship, tresaure chest....stuff like that :D

I love sprays too but you have to be careful which one's you use - if it's alcohol based (which makes it quick drying) you don't know where you've missed 'cuz it drys so quickly - ask me how I know

Actually it is. I used the BB Sport Spray or something like that... SPF 30. My chest seems to fry more so than the rest of me... so I have to reapply there more often. Used the spray on my chest and shoulders it in Jamaica this year... and it worked great! And I was in the water like every 20 minutes!

Before I get a base tan, I use Coppertone Sport waterproof SPF 15. I can actually tan through it without getting burned.

After I get a base tan, I use Bain de Soleil Mega Tan that is an spf 4 sunscreen with self tanner in it. The self tanner is subtle, and it just adds a nice glow and evens out tan lines if you put it on everywhere before you go out.
