Another Philly thought!

Post by Zuke »

We had a great weekend, despite the rain. The parking lot was good for the most part..........however, we were parked next to one group where it was getting way out of control and sloppy towards the end of the day, and as mentioned in another post, somebody permanently borrowed one of Tequila Tom's margarita containers.

Buffettnews was great, thanks for letting us into the RV during the rain! Who was that Kitty imposter, anyway?

Mickthepirate......aaaarrgghh!

The show was great, as we know, I thought the best of the summer, I think my jersey was on the screen 3 times or so. What a view from down front to turn around and see the entire stadium doing "Fins"!

I ended the whirlwind 36 hour weekend last night at Mohegan Sun, I went to see Clint Black. What a talented guy, he plays guitar, harmonica, and then played drums at the end.

Lotsa driving, lotsa fun, 2 great concerts and hardly any sleep..........I'd do it again tomorrow!

Someone "borrowed" one of my chairs and my hats....not a terrible loss, though.

As my wife mentioned, she was somewhat surprised that everything hadn't been "borrowed" by the time the concert was over.

The tailgating was great. MickthePirate...what a trip....

philly id a different city...i ve been to philly for just about every kinda event that it has to offer, and the people in the parking lots surprise me more and more everytime....sat. ngiht i had some dude trying to sell knock off t-shirts to us then he asked us if we wanted any crank, coke, acid, or mushrooms. hmmmm let me think. NO. i though the concert was one of the best ive ever been too but a litte more security in the parking lots wont have hurt. i know some people thought philly was bad, but i still think Camden, NJ is worse. I hate that place and hope JB doesnt come back to Philly next year rather then Camden, NJ. Fins up!

We had a great time as well and it was great to meet everyone.

Blackjack and I had our grill "borrowed" as did the parrottheads next to us. Funny thing about that is that the persons doing the borrowing only took the top part of the gas grill, not the plastic stand.

All in all, it was a great time. Blackjack and I made our way up to the front row (excuse me, pardone me, excuse me, pardone me).

We were not so inpressed with the venue only because it was soooo big!!!!. CBP was made for baseball, not for huge concerts like this one. Maybe we are getting old (ok, I am geting old, I just dont like to admit it) but I would rather like to see him in a smaller venue like Camden or the Keswick in Glenside (what an amazing show that would be!?!?!?!) Being realistic I know that Jimmy would never play a small venues tour like the Keswick (heck, where would we tailgate?) so I guess I will have to be happy with what I can get.

And I am.

Thanks for coming to the Deleware Valley this year Jimmy!!!!

We will see you next year!!!!

I caught your jersey on screen as well. I think the only person that made it on the screen more than you was the chick in the referee shirt and cheeseburger hat that was on the screen about 5 times per song!
