What's your favorite software program?

I've been cleaning out my computer recently and we all have those programs that we just can't live without. I'm not talking about Outlook or Word, but rather some program that you've stumbled upon and now rely heavily on.

For me, that program is ePrompter. I have 7 or 8 e-mail addresses. ePrompter will check all your boxes and whatever interval you select. I can read and even reply to e-mails without ever having to log into my account. This is really helpful with all my hotmail accounts.

So tell us which program you love or can't live without.

kewl baby boy - if you use it - will it still send the emails to outlook even if you've looked at them through eprompter?

Cool Edit Pro: Audio processing program, use it for recording RM shows and for recording my own music. Real easy to use.

I have been wanting to buy this program called automation anywhere, but its over 300 dollars last I checked. It records mouse and keybord inputs. After I tried out the demo, I realized why sites like ticketmaster make you type in the word that you can barely read.

Yes, there is an option to "leave messages on server". Outlook will pull them off the server. There is also an option to download message headers only if you have a slow connection.

Personally, I don't use it on my Outlook account because I always have Outlook open. I just use it on my 4 Hotmail accounts and 2 Gmail accounts. I used to have my Charter account on there, but I don't ever give out that address so there's nothing worth checking.

Thanks Baby Boy - I might just have to use that at the office :-)

Oh and mine is Auto Refresh - Scooterboy turned me on to it - sure does save hitting the F5 key :-) unfortunately it looks like the site that had it for download isn't active anymore :(

Both really. My favorite program was free, but if there's one you paid for that has been well worth the money I'd like to hear about it as well.

They're all equally important to me ;)

Thanks for the cool edit pro tip, I'll have to try it.
I tried total recorder & it was pretty good but that was before the old puter died, gotta get a new recorder now..

as far as automation anywhere try out Macro Magic ;)
it may be similar & is far cheaper!

A real fun app I love is "gemani gif movie gear "
you can make or edit animated gif files :P

BTW, cool thread

Outlook can leave them on the server if you specify.

My outlook is configured to check all of my email accounts (I have a lot) every minute. No need for additional software.

Google Earth rocks tho.

Loving iPhoto 5 and couldn't live without iTunes. Can't wait for the Mac version of Google Earth, I use it when I'm bored at work.

Any suggestions on a duplicate file manager? I just ran a scan with DupTrash and it found almost 2Gbs worth of duplicate files, however unless you buy it it won't let you delete them. :-?

NoClone, a recently released program, did nothing but crash my system and I am currently giving FileCake a shot but am already sensing some lack of performance issues...(yeah, I know, that last phase sounded a little "blue pillish, but I didn't know how else to phrase it)

Any help??
