Not to be crass, but M'ville New Orleans will eventually dry out and can be rebuilt.

So far, almost all my friends and family in/from the area have been accounted for.

Let's hope all our Parrot Head & Margaritaville friends and family are safe and out of harms way. It will be a long road to recovery for the City of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast.

Oh please calm down......I highly doubt that anyone meant to lessen the horrific events that have occured in those areas. There is at least one other, very active, thread for those PHin power/Prayer concerns. This was just a thread of "curiosity"...and I'm certain no disrespect was meant.
We truly feel for you and all of the others, that are directly affected by Katrina. I have friends in NOLA and Miss., as well. I know of one fatality in Mississippi, by best friend's husband has lost a relative there. We are continuing to keep everyone on our prayer lists and in our thoughts.
