Indy Concert Review

Post by phjim »

The Indianapolis Star has a review of Wednesday's show "Buffett's summer paradise plays on"

Mississippi native Jimmy Buffett paused after his first song Wednesday to dedicate the concert to family and friends on the Gulf Coast.

"Let me remind you: We are party people, and things will get better," Buffett told his sold-out audience

In a final chin-up reference to Katrina, the show closed with a bittersweet Dixieland rendition of "Do You Know What It Means to Miss New Orleans?"

The Noblesville Daily Times has an article "Parrotheads in paradise"

Unfortunately we were not able to attend the concert last night. But we heard him sing "Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans" at his broadcast of Coastal Confessions, and that is one heck of a song sung by on heck of a guy. :wench:
Gotta go where it's warm! And I got a little closer when I moved to LA (lower Alabama)
