Nothing

There is no
food
water to drink
water to put out fires
shelter
order
law
clothing
homes
jobs
toilets
sanitation
medications
electricity
gasoline

And yet we have the nerve to complain about not being able to go to a concert, or about paying $5 a gallon for gas. I, for one, think no how bad things seem, there is ALWAYS someone worse off than me. It's about time we start being more greatful for what we have.

Is the love that I've found ever since you've been around
You're love's put me at the top of the world

BUT, there is also a huge convoy of military vehicles and supplies and long long lines of buses...bus after bus...to help evacuate folks.

Thank, God and everyone else who got the actions moving.

Not that I want to get in the middle of this, but PG is correct. Fire trucks have the abilty to pull up to a fire and simply s*** water from any body of water to use as a supply. If they can get to the fire they will have plenty of water to put out the fire. Now ducking the sniper fire is another story all together. :o

I just love the fact that a lot of topics here talk about something other than this. Too many people are happy sitting on their old fat ass rather than doing something to help.

We can't be complacent during an event like this!

So we are not allowed to talk about other things now? Personally, these events are so depressing and heartbreaking it is nice to talk about other things just to get my mind off of the tragedy. Just b/c we're talking about other things doesn't mean that this topic isn't always in the back of our minds. And it doesn't mean that we don't care or we aren't doing anything to help.
