I dunno ... home field didn't help your 'boys last night, now did it?
Oh who asked you!  :P :P
You should have seen Michael Wilbon's article in the Washington Post. He went off on the Monday Night game and the fact that there was a "conspiracy" to have at least one of the NYC teams in the playoffs and to give the Giants an advantage and it was unfair to the other three teams of the NFC East and I inferred that if the Giants make it to the playoffs is because they were able to get one extra home game over their division rivals.

Speaking of prevent defenses, that is the stupidest defense you can imagine. Why change the defense that got your lead in the first place?

Michael Wilbon is an a$$. I'm sorry but the Saints played horrible last night and the Giants played pretty well. Usually (read: except the other MNF game last night) the team that plays pretty well wins. :P

Well, having the crowd in your favor usually helps too. Even though I agree that if you play well, you will win a lot more than you will lose.

I have had all day to see the highlights read the posts and hell I still can't believe they won last night.

This is the Joe Gibbs I remember growing up as a kid during the glory years daring you to blitz him or put double coverage on his recieving core. Not being afraid to win and instead of playing like a team on eggshells. Knocking your ass down in the 3rd quarter and kicking you in the nuts in the 4th just because they could. Those last 4 minutes last night though I missed it brought me back to those glory days.

I really hope this is spark they needed to get their asses in gear and finally realize if you say eff it and just play football you can win.

Hail to the Redskins even if we lose the rest of our games we aren't the Cowpukes b**** anymore :D

I knew you would be the first to retort Shane plus just saying bump goes against my smartass tradition.

Just for poops and giggles I forgot this.

Hail to the Redskins!
Hail Victory!
Braves on the Warpath!
Fight for old D.C.!
Run or pass and score -- we want a lot more!
Beat 'em, Swamp 'em,
Touchdown! -- Let the points soar!
Fight on, fight on 'Til you have won
Sons of Wash-ing-ton. Rah!, Rah!, Rah!
Hail to the Redskins!
Hail Victory!
Braves on the Warpath!
Fight for old D.C.!

Well I hope you feel better... And I suppose this will continue for 8 more days since you've already got a bye... :-?

Remember, if the Redskins don't change their name, they won't be allowed into the playoffs....

Oh, wait, that's the NCAA, not the NFL.

Oh wait, that's a rule that only applies to the U of Illinois, not Utah, Dakota, or Florida State.

Fox is airing play by play coverage of the Redskins vs the Bye tomorrow at 1pm not sure how fun it is going to be but the latest Vegas line has the Skins favored by 10. I just hope Gibbs only plays the starters for the first half

They're giving them 10?

It took the Skins 118 minutes (and the prevent defense) to score a touchdown this year.....that 10 points might be generous!!!

Prediction skins will finish below 500 and the cowboys will make the playoffs

Monday was a fluke wont happen again

Year of the Tight End?

Entering week 2, 21 TD's have been scored by NFL Tight Ends.

Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzalez, Todd Heap, and Bubba Franks, four of the TE's who usually score a lot of TDs, have none yet...

It's early in week 3 (not even halftime of the early games) and 4 more TEs have scored.

Will this be the trend in the NFL this season?

For the record, I REALLY like having Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson together on my (first place) Fantasy Football Teams!!!

The good news....

The annoying Bears fans I work with got a slap of reality today.

The bad news....

They're still ahead of the 0-3 Packers so far...

Our old friend Rodney Harrison just got collapsed inside out on his left knee :(
and it don't look too good.

Can you say, "career-ending injury".... ? :o :( :(

Sideline report just said he was "questionable" to return today....
After seeing that replay... more like questionable to return... period.

I wish the Chargers had kept him...

Dol-Fins to the left! What a great win over a quality opponent, who, just last week knocked off the defending champions. The future is bright for the fish.

And....the undefeated Bengals. Five freaking picks? Are you kidding me? Sure Orton's a rook, but sheesh. Who Dey?
