Apparently the 4th quarter ended up being 16 minutes long. Someone screwed up the clock!!! Early in the 4th quarter, an extra minute was added on. The Patriots won the game with one SECOND to go!!!

Ironically, the game was in Pittsburgh...
is there an article somewhere about this?

And you KNOW how reliable talk radio is.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

I also saw the game I don't remember any of the announcers bringing it up either.

I heard about it from Dan Patrick on his radio show.

He mentioned researching it, and showing it on SportsCenter tonight....tune in!

It wasn't mentioned during the broadcast because it wasn't noticed until after the game....

the offical game time is kept by one of the on-field ref's. The stadium clock is unofficial. When the two don't jive they stop play and ask the stadium clock person to adjust the time.

Probably happened during one of the commercials. But I do believe this MAY have happened.

The talk was about the beginning of the 4th quarter. A play was run, the clock ran down to just over 14:00. Then they ran two more plays, and the time was still above 14:00, but it's unclear as to why....if the clock wasn't running, or if the clock just added a minute, which seemed more likely.

Would it have mattered? No! 24 seconds is plenty of time for Tom Brady..

Not a good day for AFC east teams (except Miami)

Chad Pennington's right shoulder has a tear of the rotator cuff -- he will be out for the season. This is the second time this he has torn that rotator cuff in less than a year.

Rodney Harrison, Matt Light, Takeo Spikes, Chad Penningon all in one day!

This Patriots team looks a little off its game, and I'll match offense weapons with you any day.

What is going to happen then when the Fish play the Pats? "A Ron divided against itself can not stand!"

The Jets know where to find him...

At the Betty Ford Clinic where the Cowboys left him.
