Am I reading this quote right? That is a bold statement to make. For every Michael Moore on the left, I can name a Rush Limbaugh on the right - Sean Hannity, Bill O'Rielly, Michael Reagan, Jery Falwell, Pat "Let's Assassinate World Leaders" Robertson just to name a few.

The left does not have a monopoly of stupidity.

Add one more name to that list:
GARRY JOSEPH! 8)

I like all those guys you named except for Jerry Falwell.
(Even though he was right about the purple tele-tubbie being g.a.y.).

Also, if you say anything bad about President Bush, the terrorist win!

Can you imagine if President Clinton was still in office and this happened. They would be hanging him from a balcony in the French Quarter by now.

One last thing - for the guy who posted that he wanted someone like Truman in office - wasn't Truman the one who said "The Buck stops here"? Yes, Harry would have taken responsibility.

I say we start a movement to bring back Harry Truman from the dead.
He's got to be one of the ten greatest presidents in the history of this country.

Wino - you should get a kick out of this - I am reading a book called "The Outfit" about the Chicago Mafia - great book. I am at the part now about how they controlled all the Mafia families - even New York - and it started in about the Kansas City Mob. Well, the KC Mob found a "perfect" candidate that they could control - their candidate was Harry S. Truman. When two of the top officers in the Outfit were sent to an Atlanta prison in the late 1940's, it was Harry Truman that transfered them to a prison that was closer to Chicago. Harry was mobbed up! 8)

My whole point is that A) The Man at the top of the food chain is the one responsible - he sets the tone and sets the message - and B) EVERY politician is not what you think.

Good choices. You're obviously a very well read young man.
But don't you think the ORIGINAL President George belongs in there somewhere?

I'll check out the book someday soon. I do love to read.
And no, politicians AREN'T always what they seem to be. Like anything, some are better than others, while others are far worse. It's up to the voter to decide which is which.

The GEORGE BUSH was great.
The original GEORGE was even greater.
(As the Captain just said-I was referring to Mr. Washington-who, if you were 3 during HIS administration, would be somewhere around 211 years old. YOUNG 'UN)!
