Where I live is the first place offshore shrimping was done..So I eat a LOT of shrimp....it's good to live where you know the Captains of the shrimp boats....

I've done beer butt chicken with just the top open and after cutting off the top (not cutting in half, just cutting off the top). IMO, gets alot more of the flavor of whatever you've thrown in the beer circulating inside the bird.
